    anyone know what the problem may be. I installed a MagicV 5k6 in my v10 ps2. worked for a day fine, no problems til now. When I insert a disc it won't spin anymore. any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Did you do the romeo mod? I would check the installation over again just incase something went loose overnight. If it all looks fine, try removing the chip to see if your chip didn't go out on ya.

    nope didntdo the romeo mod. whats that btw? also, all connections are fine...maybe i should remove the modchip to see if it still works. iof it doesnt that means its the la chip correct?

    yup,... sounds like your LA chip is blown. Do a little bit of reading on the Romeo mod and you should find all the info you'll need regarding this.
