v10 board in a v9 machine

is it possible to put a v10 motherboard in a v9 console, I just wanna make sure the dvd drive would work with it? it should, better yet would a v7 board work with a v9 dvd drive?

the board will fit v10 into a v9 just make sure the laser type is the same. but the tray assembly are the same with v9 and v10.a v7 board will not fit into a v9 drive

cool, thanks I have another question, I have a dms3+ and cannot get it to get ower from the 3.3v points. I have to use the connection on the green pads right by the usb port and the chip will not go into stealth mode, but the chip works fine other than that, I cannot play dvd-rw in the v9 but I can in my v7, It maybe one of the wires that the dms3+ does not have using, but I have the T point hooked up but it is just for DVD+RW support. Could the reason stealth mode does not work is because I am using a different power source? I would not think so, and I do not have any pix but it looks damn close to this

well theres no reason for it not go into stealth mode. are u sure ure holding eject and u conencted it to the correct place?
