    Is it possible?

I "upgraded" to 1.2, because I was testing the ugrade feature. I have now heard that software version 1.3 comes shipped on the 2.0 chip. Is this true, and is it possible to get back. Not a big deal, since I notice no difference in performance, and actually notice a very slight increase in dvd-r compatability (although I believe this is a fluke).

there is 128KB(or some other size? i forgot) of ROM on the chip, 64 is used to hold the default bios codes for the chip(in dms3 v1.0, it's v1.0 bios) while the other 64 is used to hold the flashed bios. when u reset it, this flashed bios area is cleared and then the default one is used. it is permanant

yeah... it is 64 and 64... but it isn't really the whole bios, just a place for patches or something of that nature... I didn't know that the 3 reset tappings was permanent. I thought it just worked until the chip was rebooted... thanks for the help guys!

anyone know how to tell what version of the firmware you are booting from?
