Ok so I think by now its confirmed the defect on the so called "underlined" V7 Magic II chip. Several people, including myselft, have suffered the nefast consequences

We also know that both Lik-Sang and ModChip Canada have shipped this defective chip. I've seen some ideas as far as possible solutions offered by Canada..

Now, I bought mine from Lik-Sang and I haven't seen any reaction... I have tried emailing them about this, but the general orders@liksang.com email is never the same than knowing somebody inside like some of you do..

Does anybody have ANY idea what liksang is planing to do about their Magic II customers?

    Thanks

    Super Chunk

This is the reply I received from lik-sang:

    Hi Charlie,

I am not very certain about this problem, we are buying the same stock from the same vendor.

Though if a customer indeed has a faulty one, he can let us know and we will exchange it for him. We are sorry that the RMA replies sometimes can take 2-3 days as we are extremely busy at the moment.

Can you tell me how we can check if we got a faulty batch?

    with best regards

I've advised them that it would be no good replacing a faulty one with another faulty one but that they should make a statement to re-assure customers that when a verified Magic 2 is available, a replacement will be made.
