im assuming that LED shines when the HDD is working, does it go off if the na is sending or recieving as well?
yup, that would be my description of an activity led.
Will do more test don t have hdd games. The light stand when hdd is working but it don t seem to blink. I ll look for more info.
Nice tutorialBTW - there is actually an LED inside the PS2 which flashes during HDD activity. I havent opened my PS2 up to see exactly where it is and where its connected, but its definitely there.

I ve never seen these lights and I got a transparent top

its on the bottom..like i said, it usually shows through the front grill
it's a strange orange light, only with some games i actually saw it.
I never used NA nor HDD with games, that maybe why I never saw the light. But I remenber seeing it on the mobo asking me what it could be. Now I know![]()
