Where did this rumour start then?
its not a rumor i bought a premod from a vendor and i'm trying to confirm what he is telling me is true or not. it seems that once i had made payment for it everything he had once told me changed. and now -- claims that the matrix infinity chips are killing his ps2 systems. i only ordered from him because he offered a network adaptor along with it. if there are alternatives to places that sell premods with matrix infinity in stock i'd be open to suggestions.
at first it was 2 day after placing order with promise that the chip was in stock, then the premods weren't in stock and had to be built, then it was late and was told it was still in production, and now i'm being told its killing his systems. i dont think matrix infinity would ship batches of chips that would be bad -- either the install is bad and that kills the ps2 or ? someone quoted a ratio of 1 out of 30 matrix infinity chips are bad though i'm not aware if he is related to the merchant in question.
i'm just disappointed that everything changed once i placed my order. he originally told me i'd have it in two days.
Wierd. I would bet that he is short on Infinitys and wants to sell you another chip in a premod. Either that or he isn't doing the Romeo mod and the 12v are killing the lasers and/or LA chip
on wat version should they do remeo mods?
you've been reported for having made 40 posts yet not knowing how to start your own relevant thread or not knowing how to speak english.Originally Posted by colombianito102

Infinity is the most relaiable and easy to install chip i ever saw.
The v9/10 system don't need a chip to kill them, thay just die cose sony sell us shitty lens and drivers![]()

i dont see what lens and drivers have to do with dead system linked to matrix infinity.
what timeframe do you mean they die in ?
