Today buying a premodded ps2 and still dont know which chip to get???? –
Which premoded PS2 do you recommend : http://www.playstation-chip.sk/index.php?sid=54 or should I get a non moded ps2 + HDD.
I dont know if this combination is able to play backups //PAl+ NTSC//
Whats the difference between aqua , black, silver - if there any??
You can also choose from this chips. http://www.playstation-chip.sk/index.php?sid=19 - the dms3 is too much for me. I just want to play ps2 games and later buy a HDD. I also want something like a memory card boot support - I dont know this kind of stuff so pls help me. /To get the $ you have to divide the price by 35./ I am in search for something under 900SK but they seem to be selling the matrix chip /matrix mx2/ - if it is really good then I am willing to spend some more cash for it.
Please I nedd your help guys ;D
If money is a concern, the duo2 se is cheap, and quite reliable. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the dms and the matrix but its also not as much money. It will play backups and allow hd support.
I recently got a premodded ps2 w/ the duo2 se in it, and i put a hd in it last weekend. It works quite well and i'd definatly reccomend it.
Like i said it doesn't do all the fancier stuff, but it sounds like you were looking for the basics just as i was..... I simply wanted to play backups, and use the hard drive. And the duo2 se seems to do both rather well.
I hope that helps a bit, Lemme know if you have any more questions.
Aqua , black, silver is just the external case color, that's all that changes.
Prices on that site seems on the high end, maybe you should shop around a little more
yea and what country are they in, russia ? and are they ntsc pal......?
Not Russia but Slovakia /Slovak republic/ - middle Europe. I have already bought the ps2 + duo2 chip but I had some problems but now that I know how to properly boot with it I think i will have no problems.
If ya have any questions about it or need help setting something up just ask, i definatly don't know everything about it but i'll try to help as much as a i can.
