use a 30 guage wire wrapping it works great.
also use a thick wire for reset as well if u place the messiah 2 in the recommended place.
I used 30 gauge wire wrap wire for even the reset and 22 gauge stranged for 3v and ground. M2 is in the recommended location, no problems here!
Sandmage didn't have a successful install unfortunately.Quote:

The Install Guide recommends 32 awg for a reason. And that is that it fits properly onto the BIOS legs where 30 awg is actually too thick. Many bridges arise because 30 awg is used on the BIOS legs. 30 awg is fine elsewhere except power/GND which should be thicker.
Enamelled copper wire is recommended because it is more pliable when put through to the other side; also being 32 awg it takes up less room and not havving insulation doesn't impose weight by gravity that strains the joints.
As for having heavier wire on Reset - that's crap. Someone got Reset soldered wrong, used heavier wire, happened to get the solder right and then said it was the thicker wire!
Has anyone tried this size of wire? Yes - we've done dozens of installs, all using this wire except for power/gnd.
I agree with charlie_ps2.Quote:

Having the fuse blown out in the first install got in the way of a successful install. I used the same materials again and i think they're pretty well fit for the job.;)
I'm really pleased that you had a good install second time round - given the Birthday and all that! In fact you've done better than many who run into problems and I hope the forum was helpful in getting you there.Quote:

That said, 30 awg is in itself a contributory factor in Messiah 2 intall fails. The wire is too thick, too heavy and really only safe in the hands of experts. Half (but not more!) of install problems would go away if ECW 32 awg was used.
yes indeed the forum was vey helpfull.
I thank all those who helped me
This is the BEST forum I know.
@ this moment I´m drunk, but I mean it when I say... This Is The BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't swallow the 32 awg.Quote:
