Terrible noise after modding a v9 ps2
Terrible noise after modding a v9 ps2 –

hello!
I modded my v9 ps2 with the m3-chip.After setting all the parts togehter the ps2 works fine without any noise, the cdr/dvd org works but it had some problems reading dvdr games, so i thought maybe my power wire was not tick enough and resolder to a ticker one or the laser couldnt read the disc and tried to adjust the laser a bit(not much). But after that i got a terrible noise (like brrrrrrrrrr!!)at starting up the ps2, but it disapear when the tray opens. All org.games is working fine (somtimes it gets promlem in focusing)and i do got the browser screen, and light on power/reset.
Can any of you please help me?
ITS really URGENT!
Is there anyway to fix this?

I think i know the sound your talking about, put the laser back to its original state of adjustment (if you can). reinstall the mod and try it.
Solderless Mods and Flip tops are like tampons, every pussy needs one!

About the laser adjustment, i turned the pot for dvd just i bit clockwise, can this make the brrrrrr sound at start up?Its sound a bit strange if this is the cause.
Well i took out the chip, the sound is still there.
I will try to adjust the dvd pot back to normal anf test.
Thanks for your reply, will tell if it work or not later.
