    Has anyone had any success (or failiure) using these fixes on v9 & v10 consoles?

    the la-fix work fine in v9/v10 , and it's only a wire.

    I made those images and posted them in another thread. I have done around 50 of v9/v10 and so far so good. If you want more protection just add 4.3k-4.7k for focusing channel.The reason I tried Summone's fix for v9/v10 is because the Romeo mod does not solve the problem exactly.     where are the points so that i can solder to the focus channels? can you make the diagrams for the v9? thanks in advance!

    I would just stick with the Romeo Mod. It has been very sucessful.

    As lasers still melted after romeo mod, so try summone's fix if anyone interested. So far so good for me.

    I guess the other two un-labeled points on the v10 diagram are the focus coils, thanks a lot to wmb88 for this fix, never was very comfortable cutting tracks/lifting chip legs

    Does it matter if the resistor is 1/2watt or 1/4watt??
