    Hey all,

I've been trying to install a Subzero H2O chip on a GH-071-42. I used some of the other diagrams that are around, like the duo3 diagram for most of the wires. All I'm left with is the Z wire. I suppose it's an important wire, so I'm not going to try it as it is right now. I don't want to fry this new PS2.

So is this Z wire of vital essence? And if so, is there a point on the new motherboard I can solder it to?

    Thanks

    Update 1:

I just tried to play a DVD in the PS2, with the Z wire unattached. It recognizes the DVD as a PS2 game and says its not a valid PS2 disc (red screen). So I'm guessing the Z wire has something to do with the triggering of the Modchip. Any ideas?
