Subzero 2 Chip for PSTwo

Is anyone using the SubZero 2 chip on a PSTwo here? i searched and i cant find much info on it other then its website http://d-vices.com/subzero/ . If so can you give me some Pros/Cons?

It's pretty good. Has like a 9/10 bootrate. The psx boot screen is kinda mess up but you shouldn't worry about something like that. It is a good chip for the price.

Baiscally its a specially made ICE code set used with the blessings of the ICE team.

Thanks for the quick reply :) is this chip flash upgradable when new ICE code comes out? 9/10 .... can you give an example of what it may not be able to boot?

No flashing, but it does have dev mode.

think i will just go with the Magic KX .. to hard to find info on the subzero

I would actually like to take a look at these if they are modified ICE code.

Anyone have any other links?

I've installed two of them, so far they have worked out nicely. The autoboot feature is really nice for being such a cheap chip.

Where did you purchase them? I just emailed summ0ne@d-vices.com - worldwide distributor & maker. I cant find any stores that carry them.. Googled but only found weird non-english sites :rant:
