Ok,
My v7 (or v8 if u prefer) is doing a lot off shit after a mod install... First a clone chip i bought.. it does NOT work.. only with PS1 games.. original and backup..

Then i thouht.. hmm.. lets buy a 3.0...

But then the same thing happend.. and i asked the supplier.. its from NeoAsic...

I NEED A GOD CHIP TO MY BLOODY v7 BOUGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS IN NORWAY!!!!

Any ideas? If anyone would send me free a ICE chip, modblank, whatso ever..... i will then send u a virually kiss...

Or do a Magic 3.1 Red do just fine? (does the 3.1 blues excist?)

I am adding a switch to the bogus chip... then i can Flip to psx1 backup and original, and PS2 ONly Original .Thats what i call a chip!

Ok... lets see.. i have the ps2 board in front of me...
on the bios it says:

(c) 2002 SCE
D 221 060 (s and something... have cables over it hehe

)
B 20 080

The boards name is GH-019

I have soldered the chip on the right of the board.. all is correct (can borrow a camera and post pictures later tonight)
The +5 v cable is over 20cm long!... is this the reason why it dont work? The chip is placed almoust were it say GH-019...

I can only play ps1 games... not dvd or ps2.. when boot of ps2.. i get to the memory card screen and says: reading (or loading

) After that a red lava screen appear.. it says insert ps2 game or something.. is that the red screen everybody is talking about?

I bought this machine in the beginning of december... so it aint a new v7?(v8?) or...?
