Stroppy V4!

I have a PAL V4 PS2 that was modded with a Messiah 2 and one day it decided not to read any discs whatsoever be it original or backup, so I changed the laser and still it wouldn?t read anything. I have removed the mod and tried 3 different lasers in it and still it wont read any discs. The laser tries to focus on the discs but then it just spins up and slows down. Any help would be much appreciated.

a fuse might be blown, but i'm not sure.

I checked all fuses and they are fine.
