Strange phinominum on USA imported NTSC PLASMA TV's

The first phinominum is that an NTSC playstation Moded with modo which auto fixes color to NTSC shows Black and white when running pal game on USA NTSC PLASMA TV.

that's really wired since on all of my Multisystem European TVs it's shows in color.

second phinominum is a playstation 2 PAL(again with modbo chip) that i did the color fix for outputing NTSC signal, shows on the clinents USA NTSC PLASMA TV a pictures with scroll up.

again, all games showing find on all my Multisystem european TVs.
(sony trinitron 29, HDTV toshiba, and a small 15 tv)

any ideas?

Is it connected through Component (the three video outs)? If so, you need to set the color in the PS2 settings menu from RGB to Y Pr Pb mode.

Problem 1 As far as i have seen ther is no mod that can convert PAl - ntsc only Ntsc-pal that is why your usa TV is giving the Black and white scrole. So far patcing all games is a Bitch so just find Swapmagic some whare i think it will convert pal-ntsc with out pacting ( Acording to a Customer of mine). I have yet to have time to try it.

thats not correct. since the output is NTSC and i checked it on my TV by FORCING it to NTSC/PAL which result in full color on NTSC and B&W on PAL.

on my all my 3 TVs the result showing NTSC 358 is getting out of the PS2 , but the customer reports of B&W on hes NTSC PLASMA TV.

any ideas?

yes it will alwase output to ntsc but if a pal game is inserted it wont display ntsc it will display pal hence the B&W rool Plasma or not with Matrix infinity 1.5 not sure on new bios as i have lost contact with that customer. For pal Tv and pal console will disply Bolth NTSC game or PAL game corect on PAL set Plasma or not.

as i sayed before, the output is NTSC that for sure, on browser and with all games. tested on all of my 3 TVs.

i'm getting NTSC signal which all of my TVs know how to work with, but my custumer NTSC PLASMA don't know.

that's really strange!!!

the chip is the modbo with the latest firmware, which autofix to PAL and i used onboard fix to switch to ntsc. maby that's the problem.

i think so. anyway he bought it from usa and it's NTSC only!
