Strange Magic 3 Problem.

Ok the thing is that everytime I boot a PS1 game (both originals & 'backups') and start playing the screen is positioned to high up, which leaves me with a giant black bar at the bottom of the screen and at the top there is an egual bit missing.

Now this is not the case with PS2 games so I'm really confused. Why is this?? Is it the instalation that is messed up or what?

I don't know anything about these things really and I didn't install it myself.

Other than that PS2 games keep freezing at random (during loadtimes) when I'm playing so I'm thinking about getting a Messiah 2 PRO anyways.

btw: I've got a PAL v7 PS2 if that helps.

I'd say it's to do with out of region games on your TV.

i.e NTSC on PAL or vice versa

Nah, I shouldn't have anything to do with that. I have an NTSC compatible PAL TV. And playing NTSC games on my chipped PS1 was never a problem.

Really what I want to know is if this has anything to do with the instalation. Since if it does I can go back and complain, hopefully switch the M3 for a M2PRO.

its your chip and or installation is sloppy. get a messiah 2 pro

Well, getting a new chip is probably not the best solution for everybody.
