    Okay so i recently installed a magic5 50K on a version 9
at first i tested it out with all media(dvd movie, ps2 dvd game, ps2 cdr game, psx cdr game) and they work fine
after a week my cusomter brought it back and the cdr ps2 games are not really working

    cdr pot @ 900ohms (original)
cdr boots up fast no problems but about say 5 minutes into the game the laser will be clicking and clicking
when it gets to the point that i cant play anymore or it just freezes, i pop out the disc and then put it back in then it runs fine until 5 minutes after same symptons

after adjusting to 1200ohms it is still the same problem

    any ideas?
