I modded a pal v4 with the messiah and everthing works fine.
After 2 weeks it suddenly stops playing anthing and the tray does not go open.
I opended the ps2 and everything looks fine.
I put everthing back except the screws and he does everthing as good as it used to be.
Then I put the screws back and tested it again and know I get the browserscreen.
I opened the ps2 again and without the screws everthings works fine, but the moment the screws are back then i get the browserscreen. (also with originals)
Sometimes I get the green screen (uses rgb cable) with the TEXT insert disc (so not the red screen)

Anybody can give me some advice?

    Thanx

    Raymond

It must be a wire's moving and shorting with something when screwed back together. Check each point and secure your wires to the motherboard so its all tidy.

I had a similar problem but my laser wouldn't come on when i screwed it back together. turns out the wires i used were too thick so when i screwed things back somehow it got messed up. I switched to magnetic wire, which is enameled-based wire, and is super-skinny. No problems after that.
