Hey, i recently installed a modchip in a v12. Also did summones fix into it, and because ive trashed the small resistors (named 01d) before when soldering i checked their values after work was done. The upper one gave me 55 kohm and the other 88 kohm. I checked forum for their correct value and found 100kohm is correct. (this pstwo read media just fine)

I then opened another pstwo, with no modchip/summone installed, and i got the exact same values, around 55 and 88 kohms.

Can anyone tell me why i read that o1d resistors are 1000 kohms, when on my untouched mobo i had theese values?

    thanks alot, greets to ps2-scene

the resistors are connected to a circuit, so the circuit conductivity decreases resistance measurement.

Not only that, it will probbably give different values with different ohmmeters due to it being semiconductors.

    yes.

or you can replace both to 30k /33k /68k
for 30k/33k apply the 560ohm fix, for 68k the 2.0k fix
