Damn the SCeX point looks even more difficult then all of the other points, has anyone an alternative point or a easy way of connecting the wire(since the condensator is surounded by multiple condensators and i'm finding it hard to connect the point. since i don't want to ruin the condensator(or whatever it is called) and i can only solder at a 90 degree angle.
MMmmmmmmmm pretinned the backside points/reset/clk/and A
gonna solder the 8 backside wires and the the topside of the mobo
GOD HELP ME

at the opposit side of the capacitor (thebrown thing where the scex cable comes on) u have a resistor.
Put some solder inbetween the capacitor and resistor(they r already connected with eachother) and then stick in the wire from scex.
hope this helps.

BTW i have 2 type of bigger wires than whom i chip my ps2 with, is it possible to have to thick of a wire?
So that the wire is TO THICK for my messiah to work

Not as long as u can connect to all the solderpoints without either breaking them off or shorting stuff

OK i just finished with soldering every wire to the MOBO, Damn a hell of a lot of work the first time(dont have no printer, so walking up and down my pc to look at pictures/guides, thank god i have my gf for holding stuff.
those 4 point on the Chip (P,O,N,M) are easy as hell, they where like friggin 5 times as easy as the pads(think this has to do with my .1mm tip not wanting to have a blob of solder on the edge of the tip. TALKING BOUT THE PADS NEXT TO THE CHIP).
all in all it wasn't as hard as i thought it was, when i keep in mind that i started soldering on my xbox half a year ago and only chipped like 15 consoles with a 1.0mm tip using very big wire and the LPC chips like applex-v3/V5/pro.
This was the first time i ever even touched a iron tip smaller than 1.0MM and i didn't even practised since i dont have a pcb with solder points that small
Ok off to solder the chip in.

i think the buttons are functioning normnallie, eject is blinking and i can boot from eject and power
WTF did i do?

Meh, it happens. If you have a multimeter check your backside points first then the remainder for bridges. Make sure you haven't damaged the ribbon cable for the 'reset', 'eject' buttons.

ok, havn't got time until now for this project, so on we go
i just deinstalled the chip and everything works fine again. I mesured all the points and they where fine, so i'll just resolder all of them.
Does anyone know what could have coused this? to long of a wire to thick of a wire for CLK. I know you cant just say "hey this or that is the problem, but maybe the error(blackscreen on boot no eject) is related to a specific area of the mobo(some certain points for example)
