Spray Paint PS2

Hi, i have recently seen a limited edition silver PS2 that my friend recently bought and it looked really good. all i want to know is if any1 has spray painted their PS2 a colour and what type of spray paint they used? also i was thinking would you need plastic primer before u paint it?

for best results you should spray with plastic primer yeah..

ive sprayed a few in my time any spray will do the abs used for the ps2 shell aint fussy the main thing is to protect the colour with a clear coat of laquerto prevent chipping pealing and scrathing.

for a better paint job, water sand your ps2 with 1000 sand paper or higher, then paint flexible/plastic primer on it, paint it, then add clear coat. I use leftover paint and clear that they use for cars.

all depends if you want to keep the texture of the abs and the ps2 logo intact i suppose.

I did mine about a year ago and it was my first one. But I also did my Xbox and I used krylon paint. You don't need anything else it actually bonds to the plastic. Look sweet You can buy it at your local Ace Hardware.

PS2daddy did a kickass job and his little guide on how to Spray the PS2. It should be put in the FAQ & Guide section of PS2NEWZ. Leave out the EL Lite part though.
