I have a PAL 39004 V7 PS2 chipped with Matrix MXL working all kind of discs(PS2 backup, original, etc..)
If I put a disc on the tray and start to play, all ok, but when I want to change disc pressing the eject button the motor that spins the disc doesn´t brake so still spinning until the disc stops itself. I have to wait until the disc is completely stopped to open tray(normally this operation is done in 3-4 secs, in my case is about 10 or 15 secs to open tray having to press 2 or 3 times the eject button)
no idea try contacting the modchip maker
try not pressing it so many times!
with the eject button like with a PC you can sometimes cancel the eject action by pressing it a second time...
Naaah, isn´t in that way. If you press the eject button it starts to blink but it doesn´t open the tray, like the time to open has expired the eject led stops blinking and you have to push it again to open the tray.
With the ps2 cover opened you can see that when you press the eject button 1 time the disc motor doesn´t stop quick.
