I got a word from the Official modbo team that thay gonna release a modbo 3.1 soon that will support v1-v13 console and also support Multi Region DVDs on NTSC systems.

so, we just need to wait and see

no v14 support? i won't bother unless it's reliable and cheap. all the matrix clone chips are problematic.

No.

but the team got there hands on v1 to v4 consoles (which are rare in china) and thay added support for them.

as we speak thay making final tests before releasing the modchip.

Does that mean it will do on the ntsc console to play pal DVD videos or just the region ???

I hope they fix that reset problem that modbo 2.1 has, even with the workaround you still get random rsod on those chips.

I'm guessing the 3.1 is just to actually make it compatible with v1-13 unlike it's predecessor which only worked with v9-13.

Yea, you sould be able to play pal dvds on ntsc systems, but we need to wait and see if it's actully works
