I've aquired more soldering experience, but I'm always scared of via's (sort of So I'm always trying to find alternate points...
(PS2/V7/GH-019)
Sadly, I've tested many points (with a multimeter) but I haven't found any alternate points to XO-2's [B] & [C] points.
Since this mod is a M2 clone, I thought B&C could be exchanged M2 like, but they doesn't seem to be same points.
Anyone have found some alternates yet?
Thanks a lot!

I forgot... Can be 3.3V and Reset wires long? I'm mounting an on/off switch, but since it must be in the case, those wires need to be long....
Is the signal capable to go through 8 or 9 inches?
Thanks!

the on off switch sounds like a cool idea. I hear that the ground should not be longer than 3 inches or so, but not much about the power cords... I bet not many have tried this though.

V7 Alt (B) and (C) for the X0-2
You can add a spst switch on the reset wire to turn on and off your X0-2.

I indeed added a switch to "Reset" and the only thing that happened was that I can't go into PS1 mode when the switch is off... Every disc is forced to PS2 mode.
Unless there's some special kind of switch (I used a standard one) this didn't work for me...
But the alternate points did!
Greets!
