Soldering Iron Right?

Hi!!!

I am going to chip my playstation and right down I am getting all the equipment together ready to chip!.

So I have found this soldering iron, but I am not sure that this soldering iron is appopriate for chipping. So all the expert installers, is this good anough to buy?

U have to use a 0.5mm tip or less,

not a 1.0.

thats too big and u will dp some damage with it.

i will get back to u with the source i got mine from.

You can practically do the job with any soldering iron, but using a smaller tip will help out a bunch.

I used an iron with a massive tip that I use to solder wires together and it worked out fine. (This was with a V2).

Does anyone know where to get a soldering iron perfect for the job and sent to the UK?

THey are located in the UK, I bought mine from a US distributer located in their list at the site above. I bought the .012 Iron tip and its been the best soldering iron ive had for chipping and it wont wear out by overheating like other crappy ones.

I have had a look at the Soldering iron. so do i have to buy ythe solding iron and tip separately?
