Im soldering a Magic 3.1 on a V7 PS2 and i did all the soldering points flawless except when it came to points T and U. They solder on to these copper rectangles i think there called surface mounts and i guess i somehow desoldered them its just a black piece there now ( a shadow of its former image). I tried soldering to that but it doesnt stick cuz theres no metal there. What do i do?

    Hi:

Use Flux and/or Soldering paste to clean the pads. Specially use tinned solder ing paste if you can buy it.

If it doesnt work because there is no rest of metal pads or connection then be careful with this tip:

Using a cutter or something like that, retrieve the anti-soldering mask on the vias connected to the pad, and then, solder to it and of course, reconnect the via with wherever the pad were connected.

    Good LUck!!
