Slight Update on HK Messiah 2

I've been having a few problems getting this chip into a PS2.
Firstly, I installed one late last night, only to find that the PS2 would only give a black screen. All other functions were ok. I checked and double checked my connections, but could find nothing wrong. I called it a night and decided to install a second chip the next morning, as I suspected the chip to be at fault. By the way, when I disconnected the 5 volt rail to the chip, I had full screen with everything working ok. Originals booted fine.
Come this morning, I was ready to install the second chip, and to my horror, we had a power failure in our area. Some clown smashed into a power pole in the next street. It took the power companies three hours to get the electricity back on line. But one hour prior, Chris called me on the phone to tell me that the install pics I was using were not 100%. He then e-mailed me with the new ones. I downloaded the new ones, but my PC refuses to open the file up.

I've just e-mailed Chris to resend the file again, but I hope its not going to be the same.
After all that, I just hope this chip is worth the trouble, but I have serious doubts, as the pic I posted up of the chip tells the complete story.
I deeply apologise for this delay and hopefully I can get this review done soon, but DON'T hold your breath on a good result.

if installed correctly, the chip will do what its supposed to do, which is boot backups. if it doesnt work, then its either the system, or (more likely) the install. all the chips are made the same ('cept batch 0245) so if one works, the others will.

btw....what pic?

ThAD0oD, your mistaking the messiah2 for this other chip out of HK that is also called messiah 2.

Please try with this chip to play the game MAX PAYNE and post results .

these are the hk clones that relayer is installing
sounds like your not have a good day relayer sorry to hear about that but you do get idiots that cant drive for peanuts
