    Someone mentioned "Silver Conductive Paint" in the forums. Will that work to install a modchip, specifically the DMS3?

    no. it wont reliably hold the wire in place.

    you have to solder it. there's no other way to do it that'll work without costing an arm and a leg, or screw your ps2 up in the process.

    If you are not experienced in soldering consider to have a professional modder to do the installation.

    Is better to spend a few $$ (or Euro or whatever) and have a professional technician to do the job than to have to buy a new motherboard.....
