Hi i have been given a sick ps2 (bad messiah install) eeeewwww
please bear wit me newbie as i understand model is uk scph-30003 with 10 screws at base so is this a version 2 ?
ok here goes the solder points look bad and 2 smd's look as though they have been damaged these smd's are by the chip that has 8 wires going to it the chip is cxp102064.
The problem is that it will only boot ps2 games if i put an ps1 backup it wont play but going through the browser it see's it as a ps2 disc puple colour?????????
any thoughts ????
