Should I go w/Flip Top or No Solder V6 chip

Hi I need some advice. I want to modify my PS2 to play cdr,dvdr, and original imports. I would like to know if any of you have installed the Flip Top Cover with Swap Magic Disc for you PS2. If so can you please tell if it actually works flawlessly or does it have problems. Also has anyone installed the No Solder V4/5/6 or 7 modchips that require a GS2/AR2 or Swap Magic Disc. If so can you also tell if it works flawlessly, if not please tell me the issues.

its about what you like really. the mod can go out but can take a while. youwill also only have 5sec to swap. with flip top it looks bad you have unlimeted time to swap. i dont like the quality. it sux. i would go with the nosolder

That Sucks I can't think that fast. Slow reaction............dang. Thanks how about the no solder any good things or bad things.
I seen someone post something that it blew his PS2 or Burnt it or something.

The No Solder sucks. It only will play DVDR AND 80MIN cdr that like are not near 80 min. Its very stupid. I have one but took it out of my PS2.

So go with the flip top right. K, but what kind of media can it play. Can it play any CDR, DVDR, and ORIGINAL IMPORTS?? Pls help me! Which one's can it and can not play?

the no solder has nothing to do with what will play and its anything under 72 min due to the swap magic and the gameshark.

So if I use a no solder mod chip w/ swap magic disc as long as I have cdr under 72 they can play. Also can they play original Jap imports.?/ With what you said last, it's basically the swap magic disc that lets you play cdr,dvdr,imports sorry kind of confused right now??

yes the swap magic or gs determines the toc size. it will play 80min cds as long as the toc is under 72 minutes. the no solder or fliptop just allow you to swap
