Should I get a DMS4 Pro Modchip

Hi, I was wondering if it is a good idea to buy a premodded PS2 w/ a DMS4 Pro modchip because I really like playing my games off the Hard Drive with HD Loader but some of the games I want to play don't work with HD Loader so I wanted Toxic OS. So is it a good idea to get a premodded PS2 w/ DMS4 Pro or are these chips known to have HUGE problems?
