Point "S" is only responsible for PS1 games. If you're booting a PS2 game and having issues, it's not because of this point.

You say the PS2 game actually starts? Your issue then is either a laser problem, or the media.

hi, thanks for the reply, ive just relised that ive soldered point s on the wrong leg i dont think i can correct this as the leg has lifted off the board (im a dickhead lol).

i dont think its the media because they work fine on my own ps2(but i will check anyway).

if it is the laser how would i check is it a certain point ive messed up or have i knocked the laser.

    thanks chris
