Does anyone have the full versions of the V12 Disassembly/Reassembly guides and the DMS4 S.E. Lite installation guide? I bought my chip at http://www.modchip.com, and didn't know mod-chip had guides until afterwards. They would be much appreciated.

Oh. Thanks but I meant the full versions if you bought it from them. I did manage to get a disassembly guide from console.com. the "Install" guide I meant was to show you when you should test your install before applying the last wires and other tips.

You do not test your ps2 until all the wires are soldered. I don't know where you got the testing wire theory.

I was looking at page 13 of this: http://www.mod-chip.com/Lite/DMS4_SE...2-V14_Lite.pdf

it says you can do a preliminary test.

I pretty much understand how to mod the chip and soldering is no problem, I am just trying to be thorough before I do it. Plus, should I install my neofix XIV directly after installing the mod, or put my ps2 together and make sure the mod itself works?

Watch out on those guides, I had my Xbox chip installed by a professional using a guide from mod-chip.com (i buy from them), and he broke it. lol, As well i went to the maker of the chip and says "Mixed information", Read verry carefully. If anything go to the official website (if they provide). Makesure that is the full version of the tutorial as well.
