    Hello,

I am new here and my englsh is not the best.

I have a problem with a new PStwo.

I would modify this with a Mod Chip, the ICE Chip.
Normaly, the soldering is not a big problem for me - much PS2 of the type V3 to V10 works without problems.
My problem is now, that the points I and G are bad - there is no konakt for solding.

Now, I am searching for alternatives, at the old versions of PS2 are the alternative on the processor - where are the alternatives on the new PStwo mainboards?

I hope that somebody could me help, this console whas a christmas suprise, but there is nothing of surprise..

I havent tested the points on the cdx in V12, but from looking at the points on the V10 diagrams you should be able to figure it out...

btw, you really should know how to check for continuity at least if you are installing modchips

    Thank you for the picture.
I know the pictures from the PS2 V12.

My problem is now, that I only can check the points A und B with a multimeter - but I can`t check the points I and G, because the points from ICE plan are damaged.

What can I do or what is the best methode for check the points I and G on the cdx?

    Hello,

I have now tested the pins of the cdx with a multimeter and found the pins what I need.
I can make a picture, when me someone give a picture of the cdx without the yellow circle - my digicam doesn`t work.

But I have now one problem.

The PStwo work now, but a PS2 game on dvd-r doesn`t play.
The dvd-r works on a V9 PS2, also what can be the problem?

    HI,

sorry, my english is not the best.
The welding on the cdx is a little bit harder als welding on the vias.
    But it is ok.

Now, the pstwo works, but without dvd-r support - what could it be?
