I am beginning to believe the scph18000 gh003 ps2 I have is unmoddable. i cant find a single diagram that matches my board. So, before i decide to sell this 18000 ps2 and try and acquire a 10000 or 15000, if anyone has ever successfully installed a modchip on a scph18000 gh003 ps2, reply to this and tell me what modchip you used and if possible post a picture of your install

I think M2 Clone will work on it. Becasue I had successful installed an 18000 gh008 with M2 Clone. So I think it can work on 18000 gh003 too. For M2 Clone there is a diagram for 18000A and 18000B. But basically all those points are the same.

Can u post a FULL mainboard pic of 18000 gh003 if possible? I have never seen 18000 gh003 before. That the only version board that I have never seen and mod before.

Oh. If you really want to sell it. How much u want? I am interesting too.

yes i can send you a scanned picture, so it will be a little blurry

there is one thing you should know. the 18000 gh003 is especially wierd. see, normally, the bios is on the bottom of the board. on mine, there are 2 bios chips, and they are on a detachable green circuit board. but anyway, i will send you a picture. can you tell me your email

sorry, here is the site where i have posted the pictures

    http://www.sharexperiences.com/picfo...bum=3256&pos=1

check both pictures, one is of the motherboard (sorta bad), and the other is of the 2 bios chips on the green circuit board. As you can sort of see, the numbers all on a normal bios chip, are split between these 2 bios chips

why not check out my modchips install pictures in the other gallery while you are at it .

Im going to try to mod it one more time, and if it doesnt work, ill take the chip out, get it back to normal condition, and then sell it. If you might want it we could discuss a price. I pretty much would want about how much I payed for it.

Also, do you know where i could get a 10000 or 15000? If i sell this 18000, I am going to try to acquire a 10000 or 15000 with a utility disc.

im gonna try again, and if that doesnt work, im just gonna sell the bastard on ebay, and ill show you guys the auction. could somebody give me the link to that thing on dms3.com

by the way, do the pins bios on any other motherboard connect directly into the graphics synthesizer? because the thing that the green circuit board plugs into pretty much connects directly to the graphics synthesizer.

I think i know one reason why the modchip install may not have worked. I continuity tested the pins on the bios that the wires are usually connected to. since there are 2 bios chips, i tested to make sure that each pin was connected. Well, the only ones that werent connected was the 2 W (E) pins. So it appears the E wire always gets connected to the wrong place, but i still havent proved this
