Installed modcip Magic 3.1

After installation no cds dvds (backup ones) won't boot.

I think main problem is NEW 090 Bios.
Also as I understand there is now any PS2 modchip will work on this console for now.

Goodbye to modchips on new PS2. Sony say NO MORE ps2 modding anymore. Sony has introduced a new protective scheme on new systems, and now the last BIOS includes a new random check to verify if the console has been modded or not.

With this new BIOS and system, will be not more possible to mod any new PS2 system, ONLY if you swap the new IC BIOS for something old.

sorry but I didn't check the DVD drivers version it's was clients's computer.I gave back computer.

Maybe this new PS2 will force modchip developers to come up with a "True Stealth" chip. I'm wondering if the "random" checking that this bios does can be defeated with the installation of a switch on the Magic 3.1?
