Scph-39008

Is "Magic3" mod-chip compatible with new SCPH-39008 PS2 console?
I've got this one and I can't find any solution...

if i'm not wrong this is a v7 which is USA regional, well american, it could be a universal version of the U/C cause asians are 3x005/6/7 jap is 3x000x US is 3x001 and pals are 3x002/3/4.
this could be brazilian or such 'cause those are built onto Region 4 U/C.

It was bought it in Russia, and it has DVD zone 5.

so do you think that it is a V7 and will the Magic2 work?

What is the GH-0xx number on the board? I have a picture of a GH-022.

I have installed a Magic2 in one Australian ps2 (PAL) , all ps2 backups works fine, but ps1 backups don´t work. You may experience the same thing with this guy....
