    Hello

This is my first post, so please excuse me if this is not the right place to post. Excuse my poor english too.

I tried to install a DMS3 chip in my SCPH-39004 PAL v7 (Motherboard GH-019), and everything work fine (PSX, PS2 CDR backup, DVD movie, DivX, PS2 DVD game...), except dvdr backup.

After many try and check, i put a Messiah 2 inside, and same things happens

So, do you know if some PAL v7 bios definitively refuses mod-chips ?

    Thanks a lot.

Do you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that your DVD-r backups are GOOD? Try them on a working modded console if you have access. If I had to guess, I would say your backups are hosed.
What type of media and burning processes are you using?

Yes, there are good, they work on another PS2 (where we get the Messiah 2 for testing). This is standard Verbatim discs.

    More details :
    The PS2 is a v7 GH-019 bios 80.
We try both DMS3 and Messiah 2 1.21 => same problem.
We try another V7 DVD reader => idem.
