I was given a japanese ps2 scph 10000 and I'm wondering what it's north american version equivalent would be. I've been searching the forums and googling for the info for a while now, and I can't seem to find it. I was also given a duo chip to install into it, which is why I need the information.
Thanks,
-Chris

You won't. That's why it's called a V0....take it from someone who knows
Duo Chip definitely won't work in that puppy.

That sucks. Were you able to successfully mod it with any other chip, and which one did you use if you have?
Thanks,
-Chris
EDIT: Just noticed your signature after posting this. Any info on an appropriate chip would be appreciated. Thanks

DMS is good for me....but it depends on what's right for you. You may want read my topic here if you are going to get the DMS V2 for the 10k series http://www.ps2newz.net/forums/showth...threadid=13682
Other than that....I just love the fact that I can use my HDD with it
