Just been surfin the net for V14 PAL (GH-041-xx) Compat chip.
Came across this strange chip. Has anyone tried one of these?
Has ACTEL APA075 FPGA.
Claims:
SARA - Play all ps2 , psx disk without swap. RGB and Screen fix for NTSC psx games. Green Fix and Macrovision Remover for DVD Films. Compatible V3-V14 pal consoles.

Doesn't have upgradability and autoboot features,it's go like all "old" chip..ps2 direct boot,ps1 e dvd movie long reset.
But has 100% bootrate and major thing...it's really cheap
Good solutions for quickly v14/v15 mod for people which only want play!!
Thanks Andry. So if my customers want cheap I can sell this SARA chip, if they want quality I can sell them DMS4 Lite. Where can I get install diagrams?

Sara diagrams are the same for Matrix Infinity,MX4 and O2
One thing,i don't remember if this first batch of sara are only for PALL console 'cause i'm here in italy and i don't look to this..ask to Origa website
Ah..Matrix Infinity and O2 are really better than DMS4lite
They're the same of DMS4Pro..are on the same level
O2,for me,has someting in plus like O2loader and something in less like DMS4Pro HDDloader integreted
But HDDloader managed via MC works flawlessy,like on other chips
It's look like a really great chip.
I'm looking for a place to buy it in bulk and in better prices :)
I agree comsoft. Looks better than those sx based chips.
I thought Origa team had broken up long time ago... or did they just run in a cave???

not talking about stability and such which are very good on actel, but it's actully depent on the code as well.
but, the new chips which came on sx , such as modbo, are very stable on PS2 GAMES as well (but shitty boot rate on psx though - and that's a matter of code i think)
I receive my first batch of SARA.
V14 , V15 works great.
I am confused little for the versions v3-v10.
In the official site the diagrams give the +3v in the leg of regulator +5v
I cant understund is mistake or the SARA work with booth source (=3/+5 v )

If you use O2 diagrams there're 2 point to take voltage,5v e 3v3
On the O2's PCB even 2points 5v and 3v3...this 'cause we can take one of two (not BOTH)
The o2 itself will regulate 5v to 3.3 with a voltage regulator near 5v pad on pcb.
On the SARA instead there is only 3.3v pad,and we must take only this voltage on the board.
And if you pay attention official diagrams are the same with O2,but have 3v instead 5v
For this reason they're wrong in version v3tov10..and right in v12/v14
However..use always 3v with a tick wire and go well...
Or use matrix infinity diagrams..it's the SAME (even if Y is another...the two point work both in both chip if changed)
