When doing this on A v10, can I just cut the trace leading to the leg of the chip instead of trying to lift it off the pad?

anyone?
Hoonu im not 100% sure about cutting the trace but have heard some people doing something like that. But i assure you if you take your time lifting the leg is a piece of cake, heat the bottom of the leg for a few seconds while gently pushing the leg up with a pin, needle or stanley blade. take your time you will be fine.
Peace out chris
well i make romdeo mod cuting the trace and is very simple

btw. The system boots fine with chip disabled.
use a web page translator babelfish works fine
Ok... so I still have the black screen. My install is pretty much identical to this one. However my dvd wires overlap each other. But that should not cause a problem. Any ideas? I'm almost convinced that this ***3 is dead.
