RIPPER - Chip

Hi guys,
Installed a Ripper chip today in a V7(previous chip = f**k**g Magic3) - tested serval media :
PS1 = Princo - AMS - Silver HK (these booted fine)
PS2 = CDR : AMS - Princo - philips (these booted fine)
PS2 = DVD : Optodisc - Pioneer - Datatrack - Platinum (these booted fine)

This chip is as i tested working great (only PAL consoles) cost a little more than a Magic3 but it booted every DVDR - CDR without a hassle, no several restarts needed. Kingdom hearts - Vice city worked fine.
When i compare this chip with the previous 2 magics 3 that where installed in my PS2 this one is heaven against it.
So guys having allot of Sh*t going on with a magic3 - just change the chip - instead of putting switches on the PS2.
Maybe not to evident for some people, but if you see the difference with a good and decent chip that's worth paying for...
This is ofcourse my opinion (i tested it and this is wat i want to tell the folks)

ripper is just like the old messiah, but the ripper supports v7s flawlessly (i heard that messiah1 had problems on pal v7, could be wrong though)

ask stargate about the greatness of the ripper

Messiah 1 isn't compatible with Pal v7 Mainboards...

where did u get it from and for how much?

I bought it from Gamecomputer , on the site you will find no info about any mods, you will have to mail him about this.(No mods allowed in the Netherlands).
The guy is on a holliday for the moment (USA) and will be back on 26/1/2002.
The price i have paid is cheaper then elsewhere......45 ?.
You can also get it from Gamefreax .....
But there you will have to pay 79 ? (i think)
