In the 'Old Crow' thread I pointed out that Rex had something to answer for. Namely that he never kept his word on Messiah 2 or US Messiah last summer. He let a lot of people down.
Stepping back a moment, you were witnessing in the recent threads, a bitter man, Rex, who always has to be in the right, who can never own up to a mistake, going head on with Aerick who came across as entirely honourable, totally knowledgeable, also bitter, but arguing a sound technical corner.
In releasing the M1 production data, Rex basically shat on some people from high on the steeple. I've no problem with that - it's good stuff and the exchanges were brilliant and they all crap on each other whenever they can!
But my point about the bitter man who must always be right is the one I'm addressing.
It's no good Rex threatening my reputation, as he did, on the basis of HIS broken promises and his bitterness. He should put aside his arrogance and apologise to people for raising their expectations falsely - none the least apologise to his fawning customers who now know just what a mountebank he has become.
Lest you think I'm bitter, that's not the case. The amounts I had to refund on the promised US Messiah were comparatively small. And Messiah 2 is the delivered promise of hDL.
I just find Rex's arrogance appalling. Irony is that without that arrogance we wouldn't have had the treat just witnessed - so at least something worthwhile's come out of it!
