Returning Messiah Chip
I had purchased a messiah chip from modchip.ca but it isn't installed in my ps2. I just read there are problems with ntsc ps2's and messiah modchips. Has anyone returned there's if yes with who? and does anyone think modchip.ca should take this back and give credit towards a magic 2?
Can anyone tell me what kind of problems there are with this combination

what problem are you talking about? The only problem with the messiah and ntsc ps2's are they only get installed in v4's with certain date codes. Thats pretty much it

I would read modchip.ca's return policy. Unless you didn't remove it from wrapping (whatever wrapping it comes in), I don't think they will take it back, but they specifically say, they won't if it is unwrapped. Which makes sense, because they can't resell stuff that has been sent out and opened.
I can't say for sure, because I have never recieved order from modchip.ca. I should be getting my first from them tomorrow.
They also say they would charge a restocking fee. :P
I would make sure there is a problem with the messiah and your version of the ps2. You may even want to hold on to it, because modchip.ca doesn't carry the messiah anymore, nor does anyone else I have seen. The value on those may go up, because some people like them a lot.

Thanks for the reply guys. I am asking because i had purchased the messiah Installed it was having freezing problem so i return my ps2 for a new one assuming it was the ps2 or soldering job now i have a version 7 and this will not work for me anymore. Now i read this on modchip.ca's website "Because the messiah modchip never worked on the USA Canadian Machines correctly we have decided to stop selling this product. Please order magic - BEST it gets "
That is why i am inquiring about this

Who installed the modchip for you? You bought it pre-modded from modchip.ca
