i tried to install the 2.0 stuff when it was released, but it froze and now my ps2 wont boot at all unless i hold eject to put it in sleep mode. how do i reset the dms3 and revert it back to its default drivers? (or whatever its called) id like to try the new 2.2 software to see if that works.
thanks!

Easy :
to get back to 1.8 (previous flash) do :
1.Put ps2 off.
2.Press "reset", green light comes on the button.
3.press reset again, the light disapears and reapears, press 1 more time, same thing, and press 1 last time.
After this the ps2 boots with previous fw.
Then try to flash 2.00 again or if it doesn't work (but it should), flash with 1.8 again.
Good luck,
Please "Search" next time.

thanks for your reply - i found that reset thing when i searched (before i posted) but i then turned the ps2 off, came back pater, and it wasnt fixed anymore
i just figured there was a way to DELETE the bad software, not just temporarily load the backup. oh well, im upgrading to 2.2 now - hope it works.
thanks again
