Ok read through all the threads on how to prevent a blown laser but little information on what to do After it has blown. Common sense tells me a few things should be done. First remove modchip. Second clean up all attachment points on PStwo motherboard. Replace lens with NEW one. Replace tracking and focus resistors. Check ALL fuses. This is where I need some help. I did all the above and there is no movement on the spindle motor does anyone have a idea what to look for?

The console had the crystal chip in it for 1 week and the laser fried! NO fix was installed. The console stills has video and sound And looks as if the lens is operating as it should just no movement on the spindle. The spindle motor is new also came with the New laser head.

If i were u i would replace the whole laser/motor system, dont worry its real easy to take out. The origional ps2's were like a ****ing maze tryin to take apart. I personally got 3 brand new v12 laser/motor systems sitting on the side waiting to hop in my ps2 as soon as one dies... ; )
