I removed a Neo4 from my PS2 and i connected a wire from 21 to 33 and reconnected the piece i removed. When i turn on my PS2, the power turns on, and im able to eject the CD tray, and also the screen flashes of couple of times as it is suppose to, then the screen stays black, no PS2 logo or browser. I cleaned up all the solder off the bios. Any help is appreciated.

    thx...

    @ caveman
I also got the black screen on a Pal V5(060 BIOS) - no shorts founded - remove the BIOS Chip and check the points; notthings
wrong to see - took back the chip:

some guys told me today it can be the BA5815 or the fuse before - i have to check it out next time(maybe you check also?)

If you are able to open the tray it sounds like a definate short on the bios or you have not reconnected the cut BIOS track properly.

Make sure you have got the right pin.

That is most definately your problem. Nothing to do with BA chip
