Reliable yet affordable chip
Reliable yet affordable chip –

Hi all, I have read and searched quite a few threads on here and noticed a lot of people having problems with pretty much all chips thus making it hard for me to decide what chip is reliable and affordable.
I was thinking along the lines of a Duo or Messiah chip and also the Magic (pro/3.1) chips.
So out of the 3 above, which chip do you guys prefer over the others in the reliability department (it also has to play backups, imports, etc etc of course)
If there's any other chips around the same price range which you are satisfied with that hasn't given you any problems and such other than the above 3 that I have mentioned, please name it and what you think about it over any of the above
Thanks

I preffer the messiah 2 Pro chip. Keep an eye out for more chips to support the HDD in the near future though.
