Relayer, Need help w/HK Messiah 2 troubleshooting!

Since your the only one who has posted results with the HK Messiah 2 chip, i have a question.

My install went fine, all PS2 & PSX Originals and backups boot as they should. Only problem i have are DVD movies, backups and store bought originals. At first they didn't want to load at all...went straight to main menu. Then at the main menu i would got to browser and try to boot from there but it gives me a disc reading error. So i keep trying with "holding reset until blue eject light appears" method, now some originals boot, but freeze real bad. The way they will start is by briefly showing the the main menu then boots the movie. I am using the same media i have been using for PS2 backups, Meritline 1x.

USA brand new V7 39001.

Also, where did you get your install diagrams?
Refering to the one i used at http://ps2modchip.com/search.php?page=axechip , in the instal pic for the 5v solder point, should these two pads be jumped? cause the arrow appears to be pointing to a blob of solder in between the two pads. There should be in total of 5 pads there, but only 4 show leading to believe that the last two or first two, whci ever way you look at it, are soldered together.

On the actual chip, is reset the pad directly below M, or should that be H? I'm sure that it is reset, but i have have a little bit of doubts.

Anyways, it seems kind of strange that it will boot PSX orig. and backup using the described method but not dvd movies, or atleast they won play without freezing. Would it help if i used a capacitor on the scex wire? I have a cap. that was taken from an Neo2.2 install. If i do, i could use this cap. correct?
