Red Screen Errors with new Mod

i get a lot of the red screen errors now that i've put a modchip in my PS2 (well had one put in for me. i'm not sure which one it is by the way). The red screen just says "Please Insert a Playstation or Playstation 2 disck".

Basically my problem is, i can't install my network adapter drivers. It can't be recognized, because of the aforementioned red screen errors. This happened for me in World Series baseball 2k3, and xenosaga as well.

The question is, is it my modchip that is causing the error? If it is, what can i do about it?

well since u know nothing about your setup, how exactly do you expect us to do anything about it??

take it back to where u got it worked on... we can't read minds
